CREATIVE FUTURES

NUBIA Creative Futures connects emerging creatives with industry leaders, mentors, practical career tools and professional networks. The inaugural experience takes place in partnership with Pinterest with support from the Brown Foundation, which carries forward the legacy of the landmark Brown v. Board of Education decision through education and opportunity.
WHO IT’S FOR
Emerging creatives age 18+ pursuing careers across across art and design, fashion, photography, film and video, media and storytelling, music, architecture, digital content, and creative technology. Open to all backgrounds, with intentional outreach to underrepresented communities. Applicants must be NYC-area based and able to attend in person.
WHAT YOU’LL EXPERIENCE
- Hands-on workshops and career guidance from industry leaders.
- Mentorship and peer connection across fields.
- Professional identity and creative business insights.
- Visual research and audience discovery tools.
CREATIVE FUTURES FELLOWSHIP
Following the launch, 10 Founding Fellows will be selected for an extended NUBIA professional-development and mentorship experience based on creative promise and leadership potential.
PARTICIPANTS WILL LEAVE WITH
A certificate of completion, creative tools and resources, practical career knowledge, and a lifelong connection to the NUBIA Creative Ecosystem.
